Standing loud and proud on the corner of Munibung and Hague Road, it dominates the skyline as you drive along Munibung Road. Its near neighbours are two very big, big box retailers being Costco and Bunnings.
This ex-laboratory building used by the Sulphide Corporation dates back to the first ANZACs (built in 1915). In recent times its undergone significant re-purposing and now contains a beautiful balance of glass, exposed brick and timber all with an unsurpassed sense of volume with the ultra high ceilings.
It exudes a relaxed charm not usually seen in modern offices with the external windows looking into landscaped grounds. Internally there are individual offices, large open plan rooms, a multitude of amenities of the highest quality and the newest edition being the soon to be constructed (26) space car parks.
The building whilst old and Heritage Listed meets all the modern services for those with a disability. Fully air-conditioned, complete data room, staff break out areas - this building has stood the test of time and has been resurrected to be as useful now as the day it was built way back when the ANZACs first landed in Gallipoli.
